Seminar Room 1: eBRP Solutions

Planning – It’s about Information (Not Just Documents)
If you subscribe to the theory that BCM is all about creating Plans, you’re missing the most valuable contribution your BCM Program can make to your organization:  Effective Incident Response.

Your organization’s capability to respond to any disruption of its operations depends on access to critical information, enabling Incident Managers to make informed decisions quickly.  If your Planning process produces that critical information (in addition to Plans), your organization vastly improves its ability to respond to disruptions. Learn how your current Planning processes (including your BIA and Risk Assessments) can produce the information – not just raw data – that Incident Managers will need to assure they can respond to any Incident effectively and efficiently

To book your place, please email Jennifer Craig stating which day you would like to attend.

Seminar Room 2: LINK Associates International

Exercise is good for the brain. A 45 minute workout for your CMT.
An audience participation session which sees a scenario develop by audience suggestions. Participants will be introduced to a fun scenario planning tool and then use it to create a group scenario. Effective crisis management will be discussed in relation to the group’s scenario. Take a break from the conference to make your crisis management team fitter and healthier.

To book your place, please email Salma Sabir stating which day you would like to attend.

Seminar Room 3: IBM

How business continuity can shape the reputation and value of your company
Corporate reputations are increasingly difficult to manage in the digital era, and can be easily sullied by any number of factors — among them IT failures. The 2012 IBM Global Reputational Risk and IT Study finds that companies have begun to pay closer attention to the links between IT outages and reputational damage. Based on a study of 427 senior executives worldwide, the consensus is clear: IT risk can imperil companies’ productivity, damage customer relations and ultimately erode trust. Join this seminar to learn how to assess potential reputational risk blind spots to develop more efficient strategies and how peers are attempting to protect their brands from IT-related reputational risk.

To book your place, please email Jake Stead stating which day you would like to attend.

Exhibition Passport – your chance to win some prizes!
On arrival at the BCM World Conference and Exhibition you will be given an Exhibition Passport. Make sure you visit at least 25 stands and collect the organisation’s business card or similar in your Passport. Take it to the BCI stand (stand 9 or 39) or the information desk to be entered into the draw to win a number of prizes including an Apple iPad2, a ticket to BCM World 2013, two tickets to the BCI Gala Dinner and Awards 2013 and more! The Passport will then act as a ‘contacts book’ of those companies who can help you with your business continuity needs now and in the future.
